Abstract
La invencion provee un dispositivo de flotacion que incluye un tanque de espesado (1) que tiene paredes laterales cilindricas y un piso conico con una inclinacion descendente. Un eje de impulsion (2) esta montado central y giratoriamente dentro del tanque. Cada uno de una pluralidad de brazos (39 de rastrillo esta fijamente unido al eje de impulsion y se extienden radialmente hacia fuera, en forma substancialmente paralela al piso del tanque. Cada brazo soporta un arreglo de hojas (4) que se extienden axialmente dentro del tanque. Un arreglo de deflectores en la forma de placas deflectoras rectilineas (5), fijas con relacion al tanque, se extienden axialmente dentro del tanque en una relacion radialmente alterna y complementaria con las hojas (4). Las placas deflectoras estan ubicadas dentro del volumen de barrido de las hojas a fin de retardar la rotacion de fluido en respuesta a la rotacion del rastrillo. Un puente de servicio diametral (6) esta fijamente unido al tanque para el montaje de las placas deflectoras.
