Abstract
La invencion proporciona un metodo para transformar grandes cantidades de vidrio de desperdicio en productos utiles de ceramica mediante un proceso de fabricacion de bajo costo. Los principales pasos de los metodos consisten en la preparacion en seco de polvo de vidrio, granulacion con un sistema aglutinante organico no acuoso, prensado en seco con resistencia verde adecuada y cocido a bajas temperaturas, No se requieren agua ni arcilla en el proceso, que elimina los problemas que fueron encontrados en el pasado, Solo el paso de cocido es necesario con una temperatura de cocido pico de aproximadamente 750(C. El metodo conserva los recursos naturales y energia comparados con la fabricacion de ceramica tradicional a base de arcilla. Pueden producirse por la invencion productos ceramicos impermeables de alta calidad con solo una pequena cantidad de porosidad.
