Abstract
Se describe un metodo para inducir embriocitos de primate para que se diferencien en una poblacion relativamente homogenea de celulas endoteliales. Las celulas endoteliales derivadas de ES tienen las caracteristicas morfologicas generales y los marcadores de superficie celular de las celulas endoteliales. La celulas endoteliales derivadas de ES tambien son capaces de inducir y participar en la formacion de vasos sanguineos (o vascularizacion) cuando se transplantan en tejido, in vivo.
