Abstract

La invencion proporciona un metodo para transformar grandes cantidades de fibra de vidrio residual en productos de ceramica utiles por un proceso de manufactura de bajo costo. El metodo consiste en reducir fibras de vidrio residual a un polvo de vidrio; mezclar el polvo de vidrio con aditivos en una mezcla de vidrio-aditivos; granular la mezcla de vidrio-aditivos en particulas granuladas; formar las particulas granuladas en un articulo de ceramica crudo; y calentar el articulo de ceramica crudo en el producto de ceramica.
