Abstract
Una construccion de colector pretendido para usarse en un intercambiador (36) termico empleado en una aplicacion de presion relativamente elevada, incluye una disposicion de tramos (84) de tubo generalmente paralelos con aletas (82) que se extienden entre unos adyacentes de los tramos de tubo. Cuando menos una placa (86) de colector relativamente plana tiene una pluralidad de ranuras (88) de tubo para recibir extremos (90) de los tubos (84) y un tanque (94) esta montado a y sellado a la placa (86) de colector. Pestanas (112) perifericas estan colocadas alrededor de las ranuras (86) de tubo en los colectores y una placa (114) de refuerzo de colector esta ligada a la placa (86) de colector de manera opuesta al tanque (94). Rebordes de rigidez en la forma de pestanas (120) estan colocados en la placa (114) de refuerzo de colector entre las aberturas (118) en la misma a traves de las cuales los tubos (84) pasan y se extienden en alejamiento de la placa (86) de colector.
