Abstract

En un motor electrico, un eje 12 se soporta por un cojinete 10 de manguito y el movimiento axial del eje 12 a traves del cojinete 10 se restringe por un empalme 20 soportado mediante o como parte del separador 14. El empalme 20 tiene una cara 22 de empuje que soporta contra la cara 16 de extremo del cojinete 10 creando una interconexion de empuje/cojinete. La cara 22 de empuje tiene un perfil esferico parcial para acomodar variaciones en la alineacion entre el cojinete 10 y el eje 12 debido a las tolerancias de fabricacion, etc.
