Abstract

Un metodo para generar estadisticas del fondo que distingue entre la informacion del nivel de gris de areas de un documento y de areas no pertenecientes a un documento. El metodo incluye determinar estadisticas del fondo de la pagina completa de los pixeles seleccionados dentro de un area explorada; determinar las estadisticas del fondo de una subregion de pixeles seleccionados dentro de una subregion del area explorada; determinar si las estadisticas del fondo de la subregion corresponden a datos de la imagen de un area no perteneciente al documento; determinar si las estadisticas del fondo de la pagina completa se corrompieron; y generar estadisticas del fondo de la pagina completa validadas si las estadisticas del fondo de la pagina completa se corrompieron.
