Abstract

Un sistema de eje/suspension de brazo de remolque incluye vigas rigidas o de resorte para montar el eje 28 directamente en la viga 24 sin ninguna o con minimas estructuras de equipo de montaje adicional respectivas. El eje se ajusta por fuerza en el rebajo bajo una fuerza suficiente para eliminar el huelgo y crear un contacto estrecho entre el eje y la placa de montaje de eje. La fuerza tipicamente deforma el eje de sus configuracion en seccion transversal normal, tal como redonda, hasta obtener una forma en seccion transversal generalmente oval o eliptica. Tal ajuste por fuerza tambien crea una precarga o compresion entre el eje y la placa de montaje de eje en el area del rebajo. Soldaduras 58 continuas dispuestas en ventanas formadas en la placa de montaje de eje estan circunferencialmente fuera de lugar de los bordes que definen el rebajo de la placa de montaje de eje y el plano del eje vertical del eje. La altura vertical de la viga en el area de montaje de eje, en aplicaciones de viga de montaje superior rigida, es relativamente pequenas para mejorar el huelgo en aplicaciones de nivel de paso bajo, y se coloca un inserto en esta area de alta carga para reforzar la viga.
