Abstract

La invencion se relaciona a un arreglo de circuito para el encendido y operacion de una lámpara a alta presion de descarga, provista con terminales de entrada para la conexion a una fuente de alimentacion, terminales de salida para la conexion de la lámpara, medios de conmutacion para operar la lámpara en un voltaje nominal de lámpara Vla durante la operacion estable de lámpara y para la generacion de un voltaje abierto Vo en las terminales de salida antes de que la lámpara se encienda, medios de encendido para generar un pulso de voltaje de encendido cuando el voltaje en las terminales de salida alcance un valor de umbral Vi, un circuito de control para controlar lo medios conmutadores. Segun la invencion el arreglo del circuito es caracterizado en que el circuito de control comprende medios para limitar el voltaje en las terminales de salida en un valor Vb tal que los siguiente sea cierto: Vla < Vb < Vi.
