Abstract
Se proporcionan inoculos novedosos para la administracion a animales rumiantes tales como ganado vacuno u ovejas, con objeto de inmunizar a los animales y disminuir la incidencia de abscesos del hígado y/o morriña de las patas. En un aspecto, la invencion se refiere a una vacuna derivada de A. pyogenes, incluye un producto inactivo de cultivo de células (p.ej., un sobrenadante elaborado con célolas) a partir de un cultivo de células de A. pyogenes en un portador apropiado. En otro aspecto, la invencion se refiere auna vacuna multivalente que incluye al menos un promero y segundo componentes bacterales en un portador, el promer componente bacterial comprende un producto inactivo de cultivo de células de A. pyogenes mientras que el segundo componente comprende un producto inactivo de cultivo de células de F. necrophorum. Los inoculos de la presente invencion, encuentran particular utilidad en incidenciuas en donde los animales rumiantes están particularmente sometidos a infeccion por A. pyogenes que conduce abscesos en el hígado y/o morriña en las patas, p.ej., en donde los animales se trata n regularmente con un antibiotico o en donde el ganado se alimenta con una dieta de concentrado de alto contenido de grano.
