Abstract

Se utiliza la electrodesionizacion para desmineralizar productos y derivados lecheros con resinas de intercambio de iones cationico y anionico débil en lecho mezclado o con una resina cationica fuerte sola en los compartimientos de dilucion y de concentracion si se trata de materias primas que no sean de leche más o menos concentrada. En el caso de la leche más o menos concentrada como materia prima, los compartimientos de dilucion se llenan con resinas de intercambio de iones cationico y anionico débil en lecho mezclado. El procedimiento permite una economía considerable de agua y de energía sin la utilizacion de regenerantes químicos.
