Abstract

Un método de produccion de una hoja de lana de algodon, de acuerdo con el cual, el algodon en rama es sometido a operaciones de pulsacion y apertura preliminares de un modo tal como para obtener borra de algodon, esta borra es conducida hasta los cilindros o bandas perforados para formar una hoja esponjosa, siendo conducida esta hoja hasta un baño de impregnacion de un modo tal como para obtener una hoja más compacta, siendo secada esta hoja, y devanada en un cilindro hueco perforado de modo que se obtiene un carrete el cual es introducido en un autoclave, en donde es sometido a las operaciones de escaldado y blanqueado, que se caracteriza porque el baño de humedecimiento es acidificado y en que, antes de que la hoja se enrollada en un cilindro hueco perforada, es sometida a un tratamiento líquido previo mediante el envío de una serie de chorros de un líquido de enjuague a través de dicha hoja.
