Abstract
Esta invencion se dirige a composiciones de goma de mascar que tienen percepcion refrescante del aliento de larga duracion sin acidez que comprenden (a) una base goma; (b) un agente de volumen; y (c) una composicion refrescante; en donde la composicion refrescante comprende mentol y una carboxamida p-mentano substituida con N-, en donde la carboxamida se puede representar mediante la formula (1), en donde R1 y R2 se pueden elegir independientemente del grupo que consiste desde 1 hasta 25 átomos de carbono, siempre que cuando R1 sea hidrogeno, R2 puede ser un grupo aril que contenga desde 6 hasta 10 átomos de carbono y, R1 y R2 al tomarse juntos, pueda ser un grupo cíclico o heterocíclico que contengas hasta 25 átomos de carbono; y en donde la carboxamida p-mentano substituida con N- esté presente en la composicion refrescante en una cantidad de aproximadamente 0.001% hasta alrededor de 6% y el mentol esté presente en la composicion refrescante en una cantidad desde aproximadamente 94% hasta alrededor del 99.999%. La presente invencion también se dirige a composiciones de confitería que contengan la composicion refrescante novedosa y a métodos para preparar la goma de mascar y las composiciones de confitería novedosas.
