Abstract

Se describe un método y aparato que mejora espacialmente señales estereofonicas sin sacrificar compatibilidad con receptores monofonicos; de conformidad con una modalidad de la presente invencion, se implementa un sistema de mejoramiento estereofonico (60b) usando solamente dos amplificadores de operacion (51, 52) y dos capacitores (C1 y C2) y pueden interrumpirse entre un modo de mejoramiento espacial y un modo de derivacion; en otras modalidades, los sistemas de mejoramiento estereofonicos simplificados se realizan construyendo uno de los canales de salida como la suma del otro canal de salida y los canales de entrada; en otras modalidades, se sintetiza una señal pseudo-estereofonica y se mejora espacialmente de acuerdo a principios de cancelacion de diafonía de altavoz estereofonica; en otras modalidades, los mejoramientos espaciales respectivos de señales monofonicas y señales estereofonicas se combinan integralmente en un solo sistema capaz de mezclar de forma continua, los efectos de mejoramiento de ambos.
