Abstract

La presente invencion describe un método para desapestar telas o material textil que contiene celulosa sin esencialmente dañar la tela o material textil, sujetando la tela o material textil a un tratamiento con un cierto tipo de enzima celulolítica, por ejemplo una enzima celulolítica que tiene una actividad sobre carboximetilcelulosa (CMC) y una actividad catalítica sobre celotriosa a pH 8.5 que corresponde a una Kcat de al menos 0.01 s-1 y preferiblemente es de origen microbiano, más preferiblemente es obtenible o derivada de una cepa de Humicola, Trichoderma, Myceliophthora, Penicillium, Irpex, Aspergillus, Scytalidium o Fusarium.
