Abstract

Un procedimiento estero dirigido para la síntesis de alfa-N-acetilgalactosaminidas a partir de N-acetilgalactosamida, el cual, en una modalidad preferida, comprende: hacer reaccionar N-acetilgalactosamina con un dialquilacetal de un aldehído o cetona para formar un derivado 4,6-0-alquilideno; hacer reaccionar dicho derivado 4,6-o-alquilideno con un compuesto de grupo protector para fijar un grupo protector selectivamente al 3-OH de dicho derivado para formar un derivado 3-0-protegido; hacer reaccionar dicho derivado 3-0-protegido con un grupo anomérico para formar un donador de glicosilo; hacer reaccionar dicho donador de glicosilo con un alcohol para formar una N-acetilgalactosaminida.
