Abstract
The present invention refers to a process for thermally treating refractory gold mineral, which is performed under an oxidic atmosphere by adding fuel. To reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides and sulfur oxide emitted to the atmosphere, water or water steam is introduced to the process.
