Abstract
Un aparato para detectar inmovilidad en un vehículo que comprende: (a) una unidad de medicion inercial montada en una orientacion predeterminada sobre dicho vehículo, teniendo dicha unidad de medicion inercial un sensor inercial, siendo dicho vehículo un vehículo terrestre, generando dicho sensor inercial una pluralidad de señales de movimiento; y (b) una computadora programable conectada de manera operable a dicha unidad de medicion inercial para recibir dicha pluralidad de señales de movimiento y para determinar un estado de movimiento de dicho vehículo a partir de las mismas, incluyendo dicho estado de movimiento uno de movimiento y detencion, siendo dicho estado de movimiento detenido indicador de dicha inmovilidad, proporcionando dicha computadora programable dicho estado de movimiento a una aplicacion objetivo en dicho vehículo.
