Abstract

Se describe un sistema de cámara con deteccion de movimiento que se puede usar como una cámara de seguridad que incluye un sistema de imágenes de elementos activos de imagen (pixel) que opera en un modo de video y diferencial, conectado a un circuito de activacion de tal forma que controla el modo del sistema de imágenes. En el modo de video, el sistema de imagen genera una señal de salida que contiene informacion de un área observada en un cuadro o imagen en un modo de cuadro. En el modo diferencial, el sistema de imágenes genera una señal de salida diferencial que contiene informacion que consiste de las diferencias en el área observada entre los cuadros adyacentes detectados. Normalmente la cámara del sistema de imágenes se opera en el modo diferencial. Si no ocurre movimiento en el área observada, la señal de salida diferencial correspondiente que representa la diferencia entre los cuadros tendrá un nivel de señal constante. Al detectar que la señal diferencial de salida se desvía más que el nivel de umbral que indica el movimiento en el área observada, el circuito del modo de activacion provoca que el sistema de imágenes opere en el modo de video. La señal de salida de video correspondiente generada por el sistema de imágenes, se suministra después al equipo de monitoreo, tal como una videograbadora para registrar el movimiento en el área observada.
