Abstract

Se describe un aislante eléctrico que comprende un par de herrajes (2A, 2B), fijados a las extremidades de un soporte cilíndrico (1); un aislamiento (20), de material elastomérico, que forma aletas anulares (18) alrededor del soporte. Cada extremidad del soporte está insertada en un alojamiento en forma de tobera, provisto en cada herraje. El aislamiento reviste así una superficie de transicion, de forma troncoconica (en forma de cono truncado), que une la superficie exterior de un herraje y la superficie exterior del soporte. La superficie de transicion está definida por un manguito troncoconico (9), de material elastomérico, adosado a un espaldon del herraje, al nivel de la abertura del alojamiento por la que se inserta la extremidad del soporte. La invencion se refiere a un procedimiento de fabricacion de un aislante de este tipo y a un dispositivo para la aplicacion de este procedimiento.
