Abstract
Un aislante electrico compuesto comprende una varilla de soporte en general de un material compuesto, dos adaptadores terminales, metalicos (3) cada uno que forma un enchufe (6) en el cual se inserta un extremo correspondiente de la varilla de soporte, al menos una fibra optica (5) colocada en la periferia exterior de la varilla de soporte y un revestimiento exterior aislante que circunda la varilla de soporte y que cubre la fibra optica que tiene al menos un extremo (5A) guiado al exterior del aislante a traves de un adaptador terminal via una muesca (7) formada en la superficie interior del enchufe del adaptador terminal, la muesca que se abre a la periferia exterior de la varilla de soporte y via un conducto (8) que extiende la muesca y que se abre al exterior del adaptador terminal.
