Abstract
Métodos y aparatos para controlar un espacio acondicionado a una temperatura predeterminada de punto fijo, utilizando un suministro de criógeno. El criógeno es arrastrado desde el suministro en una trayectoria de flujo para proveer un modo de enfriamiento por un intercambiador de calor dispuesto en la trayectoria de flujo. Un motor de vapor en la trayectoria de flujo, corriente abajo del intercambiador de calor, impulsa un ventilador que mueve el aire entre el espacio acondicionado y el intercambiador de calor. Se aplica calor al criógeno corriente abajo del intercambiador de calor, después de que se han desarrollado todos los modos de enfriamiento, para proveer el caballaje o potencia deseada para el ventilador, sin interferir con un ciclo de enfriamiento. Una trayectoria de flujo de derivación dirige selectivamente al criógeno directamente al motor de vapor, derivando al intercambiador de calor, para proveer circulación de aire en el espacio acondicionado cuando la temperatura del espacio acondicionado está satisfecha.
