Abstract

Se proporciona un método de excavación particularmente apropiado como un método de minería por 'recorte y relleno' ('Undercut and Fill'), en que se insertan postes en el terreno y se usan para soportar el piso de concreto del nivel superior que sirve como techo para la excavación del nivel inferior. La excavación debajo de dicho techo se efectúa en forma segura. También, para operaciones mineras, la excavación es muy eficiente puesto que remueve esencialmente el 100 del mineral en un solo paso. Preferentemente los postes se hacen de concreto y se introducen en hoyos perforados en el terreno. Para mayor seguridad se puede usar un sistema de postes dobles, lo que involucra colocar un segundo poste al lado del primero y amarrándolos con el concreto usado para hacer el piso/techo de cualquier nivel de excavación.
