Abstract

Se describe un moderador o regulador de hojas para uso de dispositivos para el control de flujo de fluidos, que tiene hoja del regulador o moderador montadas sobre un eje estacionario y que tiene salientes de extensión que se montan en extremos opuestos de las hojas del moderador o regulador. Las salientes de extensión se montan en una relación de 90 grados a las hojas del moderador o regulador y son semicirculares en su frontera, para permitir la rotación con las hojas del moderador o regulador. Las salientes de extensión impiden la fuga del fluido a través de los planos de frontera perpendiculares al eje estacionario, cuando en moderador o regulador se abre para proveer una abertura de la hoja lateral casi lineal versos la característica de flujo del fluido.
