Abstract

Un sistema de depuración de sulfuro de hidrógeno (H2S) para remover H2S, mercaptanos y/u otros compuestos que contienen azufre de una corriente de gas natural. Un sistema de contacto de co-corriente se ubica en línea dentro de una tubería y recibe la corriente de gas natural y una corriente de depurador líquido. El sistema de contacto de co-corriente incluye un aparato de contacto de co-corriente que incluye un generador de gotitas y una sección de transferencia de masa. El generador de gotitas genera las gotitas de la corriente de depurador líquido y dispersa las gotitas en la corriente de gas natural. La sección de transferencia de masa proporciona un flujo de dos fases, mezclado que tiene una fase de vapor y una fase de líquido. La fase de líquido incluye la corriente de depurador líquido con H2S, mercaptanos, y/u otros compuestos que contienen azufre absorbidos de la corriente de gas natural, y la fase de vapor incluye la corriente de gas natural. Un sistema de separación separa la fase de vapor de la fase de líquido.
