Abstract
Se describe un precursor de catalizador, idóneo para su uso después de la reducción como un catalizador de desplazamiento de gas de agua, que está en la forma de un granulado que comprende uno o más óxidos de hierro, en donde el precursor de catalizador tiene un volumen de poro = 0.30 cm3/g y un tamaño de poro promedio en el intervalo de 60 a 140 nm. El precursor puede prepararse por calcinación de compuestos de hierro precipitados a temperaturas en el intervalo de 400-700°C.
