Abstract

En la presente se describen métodos y sistemas para ubicación de alta precisión con valores de profundidad. Una modalidad adopta la forma de un método que incluye: recibir múltiples valores de profundidad que corresponden respectivamente a lecturas de profundidad de múltiples sensores de profundidad colocados en un vehículo que mueve mercancía y orientados hacia una superficie aérea, en donde diferentes porciones de la superficie aérea se colocan a diferentes alturas por encima de una superficie de piso, determinar una posición y orientación del vehículo que mueve mercancía al menos en parte al consultar una tabla de consulta utilizando los múltiples valores de profundidad recibidos, en donde la tabla de consulta mapea alturas respectivas de las diferentes porciones respectivas de la superficie aérea composiciones conocidas de las diferentes porciones de la superficie aérea; y producir la posición y orientación determinadas del vehículo que mueve mercancía.
