Abstract

El sistema recibe una primera pluralidad de valores que representan mediciones de pluviómetros en múltiples estaciones de medición. El sistema obtiene una segunda pluralidad de valores que representan estimaciones de precipitación por radar en los múltiples puntos de medición. Para cada valor estimado de precipitación basado en radar en las múltiples ubicaciones, el sistema identifica uno o más valores de precipitación correspondientes medidos por pluviómetro, calcula un valor diferencial pluviómetro-radar para la estimación de precipitación del radar, y almacena el valor diferencial pluviómetro-radar junto con los datos que identifican la ubicación del correspondiente pluviómetro entre la pluralidad de estaciones pluviométricas. El sistema obtiene una estimación precipitación por radar de una estación que no cuenta con medición pluviométrica. El sistema determina que uno o más valores diferenciales pluviómetro-radar de una o más estaciones pluviométricas corresponden a la estimación de precipitación por radar específica y calcula un error estimado de precipitación medida por radar para la estación que no cuenta con medición pluviométrica.
