Abstract
Se proporciona un método y sistema para estimar incertidumbres en las estimaciones de precipitación basada en radar. En una forma de realización, un sistema de computación de inteligencia agrícola recibe las mediciones de una o más ubicaciones de pluviómetros. El sistema de computación de inteligencia agrícola obtiene estimaciones de precipitación correspondientes a una o más ubicaciones de pluviómetros que corresponden a las mediciones de pluviómetros y calcula las diferencias entre las estimaciones de precipitación y las mediciones de pluviómetros. Usando las estimaciones de precipitación y las diferencias calculadas, el sistema de computación de inteligencia agrícola modela una dependencia de la incertidumbre en las estimaciones de precipitación respecto del valor de las mismas. Cuando el sistema de computación de inteligencia agrícola recibe estimaciones de precipitación correspondientes a una ubicación donde no hay disponibles mediciones de pluviómetros, identifica una incertidumbre correspondiente a la estimación de precipitación en base al valor de la estimación de precipitación y el modelo de dependencia de la incertidumbre en los valores de estimación de precipitación.
