Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para identificar una modulador del gusto, caracterizado porque comprende: a) poner en contacto una célula que comprende un receptor del gusto funcional con un compuesto de prueba, en donde la célula es una célula NCI-H716; b) poner en contacto la célula NCI-H716 con un primer reactivo que comprende una etiqueta detectable específica para un núcleo de célula y con un segundo reactivo que comprende una segunda etiqueta detectable específica para el receptor del gusto; y c) detectar la internalización del receptor del gusto, en donde la internalización del receptor del gusto en la presencia del compuesto de prueba indica que el compuesto de prueba es un modulador del gusto potencial y en donde el receptor del gusto funcional es un receptor del gusto endógeno funcional.
