Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una región recornbinante promotora selectiva de fibra que comprende una molécula de ADN que comprende una región de especificidad de fibra de un promotor de gen de proteína de trasferencia de lípido de algodón, ligada funcionalmente a una molécula de ADN que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos que tiene por lo menos 90% de identidad de secuencia con una secuencia de nucleótidos de aproximadamente 500 nucleátidos consecutivos del extremo 3' del promotor 2 tipo FB8 y uso del mismo para aumentar la expresión selectiva de fibra de productos de interés en células de fibra de algodón.
