Abstract
Un cigüeñal incluye unos muñones de bancada (J) que definen un eje central de rotación, muñones de biela (P) que son excéntricos con respecto a los muñones de bancada (J) y brazos de cigüeñal (A) que conectan los muñones de bancada (J) y los muñones de biela (P). Una carga debida a la presión de combustión se aplica a cada uno de los muñones de biela (P) a través de una biela de conexión en una dirección desde el eje de un perno de pistón al eje de muñón de biela (P). Cada uno de los brazos de cigüeñal (A) incluye un rebaje (10) en una superficie adyacente al muñón de bancada (J), en una región hacia adentro de una región periférica (11) a lo largo del borde de la superficie. El rebaje (10) se extiende a lo largo de la región periférica (11) y es asimétrico con respecto a una línea central del brazo de cigüeñal (Ac), que conecta el eje de cada uno de los muñones de biela (P) al eje de cada uno de los muñones de bancada (J). Cada uno de los brazos de cigüeñal (A) tiene una rigidez de flexión máxima en un punto de tiempo cuando la carga sobre cada uno de los muñones de biela (P), debida a la presión de combustión, alcanza un máximo. El cigüeñal tiene un peso reducido y una mayor rigidez de torsión, en combinación con una mayor rigidez de flexión.
