Abstract
Un aparato para la conversión continua de materiales hidrocarbonáceos en productos de hidrocarburo condensables, no condensables y sólidos, que comprende por lo menos un extrusor capaz de proveer fuerza de corte y calor, y que tiene tres o más zonas de tratamiento, un reactor de horno térmico de proceso continuo, dicho extrusor y dicho reactor de horno estando en comunicación de fluido, medios para transportar los materiales hidrocarbonáceos a través del aparato, y entre el extrusor y el reactor de horno, medios para alimentar los materiales hidrocarbonáceos al aparato, medios para calentar los materiales hidrocarbonáceos, medios para separar productos de vapor de dicho aparato, medios para separar los productos sólidos de dicho aparato, y medios mediante los cuales los materiales hidrocarbonáceos son mantenidos dentro de las zonas en una escala de temperaturas y tiempos de residencia definidos, en donde dicho extrusor tiene por lo menos tres zonas, y dicho reactor de horno comprende por lo menos dos zonas, con lo cual el material hidrocarbonáceo es sometido a una pluralidad de escalas de temperatura y tiempos de residencia definidos.
