Abstract
Un sistema transportador de cadena sumergida remoto para separar partículas de una suspensión de ceniza de carbón/agua de una o más unidades de caldera remotamente ubicadas. Un tanque forma una sección de contención de ceniza, una sección de deshidratación y una sección de asentamiento de ceniza. La sección de contención de ceniza que recibe la suspensión con el primero y el segundo extremos opuestos. La sección de deshidratación deshidrata la suspensión. La zona de asentamiento es un canal alargado conectado con la sección de contención de ceniza en un extremo con un canal de drenaje de descarga en cerca de un extremo opuesto. Las secciones del tanque que están orientadas en un arreglo generalmente lineal en donde un flujo neto de agua de la suspensión de ceniza/agua está en una dirección desde la zona de asentamiento hacia el extremo distante. Una cadena de arrastre se mueve a lo largo del asentamiento de ceniza que transporta las partículas que se asientan de la suspensión a la sección de deshidratación.
