Abstract
Se describe un aparato y método para la coloración del pelo personalizada. En algunas modalidades el método comprende: a. efectuar una pluralidad de mediciones de difracción de luz sobre una muestra de pelo, de modo que por cada medición de difracción de luz, la muestra de pelo sea iluminada desde una dirección respectiva diferente; b. comparar los resultados de las mediciones de difracción de luz; c. de acuerdo con los resultados de la comparación, calcular un estado de daño inicial de pelo de la muestra comparando los resultados de las mediciones de difracción de luz; d. obtener un estado de color inicial del pelo de la muestra; y e. calcular una composición de coloración del pelo que se predijo transformará la muestra del pelo del estado de color inicial a un estado de color objetivo de modo que en respuesta a una determinación de grado mayor (menor) de daño inicial, una concentración de colorantes artificiales dentro de la composición de coloración calculada se reducirá (se incrementará).
