Abstract
La invención se refiere a difusores ópticos de luz para su uso con fuentes de luz puntuales, tal como la iluminación LED. Los difusores ópticos logran un equilibrio óptimo de transmisión de luz y de poder de cobertura. El difusor óptico de luz es una matriz de plástico transparente, tal como la resma Plexiqlas(r) de Arkema Inc., que tiene partículas orgánicas dispersas dentro de la matriz.
