Abstract

Se describen técnicas para permitir que un accesorio de iluminación de bajo costo produzca luz con un índice de representación de color (CRI) relativamente alto a través de un intervalo de temperaturas de color. Se puede proveer un voltaje de CA rectificado a múltiples grupos de diodos emisores de luz (LED) que tienen características relacionadas con el intervalo de temperaturas de color y un nivel de CRI objetivo. Los múltiples grupos de LED pueden ser controlados en base a una señal de control recibida, de tal manera que los grupos combinados de LED producen luz combinada que tiene una temperatura de color producida dentro del intervalo de temperaturas de color y tienen un nivel de CRI producido que es aproximadamente el nivel de CRI objetivo. En algunas implementaciones, la señal de control recibida es modificada mediante un circuito de modificación y los múltiples grupos de LED pueden ser controlados en base a la señal de control modificada.
