Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para el tratamiento de una formación subterránea caracterizado porque comprende las etapas siguientes: Proporcionar al menos un exopolisacárido mediante someter al menos a un microorganismo extremófilo o extremotolerante a temperaturas entre 150°C a 500°C, o Someter a un microorganismo modificado genéticamente a condiciones de temperatura de 150°C a 500°C, para generar el exoplisacárido Poner en contacto la formación subterránea con una composición que comprende el exopolisacarido y un fluido de base oleosa o acuosa, que comprende un fluido de cementación, en donde dicho fluido de cementación es seleccionado entre cemento puzolánico, cemento de yeso, cemento de escoria, cemento de sílice o una combinación de éstos.
