Abstract
Un procedimiento para recuperar agua, metales, compuestos orgánicos solubles y compuestos orgánicos insolubles en una corriente de licor madre de la etapa de separación de un procedimiento para la producción de un ácido policarboxílico, en donde el procedimiento comprende enfriar la corriente a una temperatura a la cual los compuestos orgánicos se precipitan; separar los compuestos orgánicos precipitados de una corriente de líquido y reciclar dichos compuestos orgánicos al procedimiento para la producción del ácido policarboxílico; la corriente de líquido del paso (b) luego se trata con un álcali para convertir los compuestos orgánicos restantes a la forma de sal alcalina y los metales presentes que se van a convertir a una forma insoluble; recuperar los metales insolubles de una corriente de líquido; pasar la corriente de líquido del paso (d) que comprende las sales alcalinas de los compuestos orgánicos a una unidad de separación de membrana en donde se separa en un permeado que comprende agua y una fracción retenida que comprende agua y sales orgánicas alcalinas; recuperar el permeado y reciclar el mismo al procedimiento para la producción del ácido policarboxílico; y recuperar la fracción retenida.
