Abstract
Se proporciona un pigmento orgánico que incluye una resina polimérica, opcionalmente un colorante y una imida cristalina de molécula pequeña que tiene un peso molecular menor de 1,000 g/mol. La resina polimérica puede ser una resina amorfa y una mezcla de la resina amorfa y la imida cristalina se puede caracterizar por una reducción en la temperatura de transición vítrea con respecto a la de la resina y por la carencia de un punto de fusión para la imida cristalina según se determina por calorimetría de exploración diferencial, la entalpía de fusión para la imida cristalina en la mezcla se mide para que sea menor de 10% de la entalpía de fusión de la imida cristalina en forma pura. Además, el pigmento orgánico se puede configurar para tener una temperatura de fusión mínima (MFT, por sus siglas en inglés) de fijación de corrugado menor que o igual a la MFT de fijación de corrugado de un pigmento orgánico de agregación por emulsión de fusión ultra baja distintivo. Las imidas cristalinas adecuadas pueden incluir N-alquil y N-aril imidas, tales como N-bencilftalimida.
