Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un sistema para tratar aguas residuales, dicho sistema comprende; un biorreactor para tratar las aguas residuales de acuerdo con un proceso de lodo activado; y una tamiz de clasificación para tamizar selectivamente el material de licor o lodo mezclado, en donde la selección se produce en base a la resistencia a la compresión o corte, donde se retiene una fracción del licor o lodo mezclado más resistente a la compresión o corte, de modo que la fracción del licor o lodo mezclado que es más resistente a la compresión o corte no pasa a través del tamiz de clasificación, mientras que una fracción del licor o lodo mezclado que es menos resistente a la compresión o corte pasa a través del tamiz de clasificación; y en donde el aparato de selección está configurado para transmitir la fracción del licor o lodo mezclado que es más resistente a la compresión o corte, que la fracción que no pasa a través del tamiz de clasificación y que es retenida por el tamiz de clasificación, desde el tamiz de clasificación a una porción del biorreactor que está corriente arriba del tamiz de clasificación.
