Abstract
Las modalidades de la invención generalmente se refieren a métodos de diagnósticos de balanza que utilizan una comparación de parámetros operativos de componentes similares. En ciertas modalidades, la diferencia entre cualquiera de dos valores de parámetro operativos actuales pueden compararse contra una diferencia permisible máxima, y/o la desviación de los parámetros operativos actuales de una medición calculada de una tendencia central puede determinarse y compararse contra una desviación permitida máxima. Alternativa o adicionalmente, puede emplearse una segunda prueba estadística estándar para valores atípicos. Una diferencia o desviación periférica puede ser indicativa de un problema con el componente asociado. En otras modalidades, los parámetros operativos actuales de componentes similares pueden compararse contra parámetros calibrados y cualquier desviación del parámetro actual para un componente dado puede compararse contra la desviación total para determinar el porcentaje de desviación atribuible a ese componente.
