Abstract

Se proporcionan métodos y sistemas para estimar el flujo de purga de un canister de combustible en base a las emisiones de un sensor de oxígeno del colector de admisión. Por ejemplo, durante el funcionamiento impulsado del motor cuando la recirculación de gases de escape (EGR) está fluyendo por debajo de un umbral y la purga está habilitada, se puede estimar el flujo de purga en base a las variaciones en la emisión del sensor mientras se modula una válvula de purga del canister entre una posición abierta y cerrada. Luego, durante el funcionamiento posterior donde la EGR y el flujo de purga están habilitados, se puede ajustar la emisión del sensor en base al flujo de purga estimado.
