La presente descripción se relaciona con un método para respaldar un video, el método incluye: un dispositivo de cámara que recibe una instrucción de configuración desde una terminal móvil y establece un parámetro de grabación de conformidad con la instrucción de configuración recibida; el dispositivo de cámara graba un archivo de video; un enrutador local recibe la instrucción de configuración desde la terminal móvil, establece parámetros de almacenamiento de conformidad con la instrucción de configuración recibida y adquiere el archivo de video grabado por el dispositivo de cámara mediante la conexión; el enrutador local respalda el archivo de video adquirido localmente; respaldando el archivo de video grabado hacia el enrutador local conectado, la presente descripción puede proveer más espacio de almacenamiento, lo cual es conveniente para encontrar rápidamente y visualizar de antemano archivos, y el archivo de video almacenado tiene seguridad mayor.
