Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para verificar un documento de valor que tiene un sustrato de polímero y al menos una ventana transparente. Este método consiste en las etapas siguientes: se detecta una imagen de transmisión digital, ésta imagen de transmisión comprende píxeles; se determina un valor de luminosidad marginal en la imagen para la luminosidad de un borde de al menos una ventana transparente; se determina un valor umbral para identificar una erosión de la impresión usando el valor de luminosidad, el cual es menor que el valor de luminosidad marginal pero mayor que el mínimo de luminosidad en la imagen; se examina para ver si los píxeles que se encuentran dispuestos en al menos una sección predeterminada de la imagen y fuera de al menos una ventana transparente y su borde tienen una luminosidad que es mayor que el valor umbral.
