Abstract

Para capturar y convertir una corriente de imágenes panorámicas o estereoscópicas de una escena, utilizando por lo menos un dispositivo de captura de imagen (C), varias operaciones sucesivas de captura son realizadas de por lo menos dos imágenes diferentes de una escena, en el formato de pixeles, con o sin superposición de las imágenes, las operaciones de captura de imagen ocurren a una tasa de frecuencia (F) que define un tiempo de captura (T) entre el comienzo de dos operaciones sucesivas de captura. Para cada operación de captura, (a) los pixeles de la imagen capturada son procesados digitalmente para formar una imagen final panorámica o estereoscópica utilizando dichos pixeles, con un tiempo de procesamiento que es menor o igual que dicho tiempo de captura (T), y (b) durante un intervalo de tiempo que es menor o igual que dicho tiempo de captura, se genera una imagen final panorámica o estereoscópica, previamente formada. El procesamiento digital (a) de cada pixel de cada imagen capturada consiste en, por lo menos, retener o desechar dicho pixel, y cuando el pixel es retenido, en asignarle una o con varias posiciones en la imagen final panorámica o estereoscópica, con un factor compensado predefinido (W) para cada posición en la imagen final panorámica o estereoscópica.
