Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un arreglo de filtro para aseguramiento en forma roscada a una cabeza de filtro (22; 222), el arreglo de filtro comprende un alojamiento (24) que tiene una pared circundante (26) que define un volumen interior (28), una entrada abierta (30) que proporciona acceso al volumen interior (28), y un extremo (32) opuesto de la entrada abierta (30): la pared circundante (26) tiene un exterior (62) y un interior (64); una construcción de medios de filtro (36) mantenida en forma operativa dentro del volumen interior (28); el arreglo de filtro caracterizado porque: (a) un manguito (60) separado, distinto del alojamiento (24), es asegurado al exterior (62) de la pared circundante (26) adyacente a la entrada de alojamiento (30) y que se extiende, en forma parcial, a lo largo de la pared circundante (26); (i) el manguito (60) tiene un exterior (66) y un interior (68); (ii) el exterior (66) del manguito (60) define roscas de montaje (70) construidas y colocadas para montaje, en forma removible, con la cabeza de filtro, cuando el arreglo de filtro es asegurado en la cabeza de filtro; (iii) el interior (68) del manguito (60) se encuentra contra el exterior (62) de la pared circundante (26); y (b) un primer miembro de sello (322) orientado contra el manguito (60) para crear un sello (324) con una cabeza de filtro, cuando el arreglo de filtro es asegurado a la cabeza de filtro; en donde el manguito (60) es asegurado axialmente al alojamiento (24) a través de una costura (321) la cual es formada a partir de una extensión del alojamiento (24) doblado sobre e inclinado alrededor de una porción de extremo (224) de la parte superior del manguito (60) en la entrada de alojamiento (30); en donde el exterior (66) del manguito (60) define una ranura (330) que retiene el primer miembro de sello (322); en donde la costura (321) se extiende a lo largo de una superficie radial exterior (332) del manguito (60) e incluye una pata (336) que se extiende dentro de una pared superior (334) de la ranura (330); y en donde se crea un sello (326) entre y contra el primer miembro de sello (322) y la pata (336) de la costura (321).
