Abstract
Un método para separar un contaminante de una hidroclorofluoro-olefina (tal como trans-1,1,1-trifluoro-3-cloro-2 -propeno (1233zd(E))) incluye extraer un clorofluorocarburo (tal como triclorofluorometano (R11)) de una mezcla que comprende la hidroclorofluoro-olefina y el clorofluorocarburo utilizando una destilación extractiva en presencia de un disolvente extractivo que comprende un compuesto dorado, para formar una hidroclorofluoro-olefina purificada. Este método de separación proporciona la eliminación de un contaminante tal como R11 a partir de una hidroclorofluoro-olefina tal como 1232zd(E), que no son separables por métodos de destilación convencionales. El método puede emplear un procedimiento que utilice dos columnas de destilación, por ejemplo una primera columna de destilación extractiva y una segunda columna de recuperación de disolvente, que permite el reciclaje del disolvente extractivo a la primera columna de destilación extractiva.
