Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una cubierta para una abertura arquitectónica, caracterizada porque comprende: un riel; una cubierta para una abertura arquitectónica que se extiende desde dicho riel, dicha cubierta siendo extensible desde y retráctil hacia dicho riel; un primer eje montado en dicho riel para rotación en direcciones de las manecillas del reloj y contraria a las manecillas del reloj sobre un primer eje de rotación, dicho primer eje que tiene un perfil no-cilíndrico y estando operativamente conectado a dicha cubierta para extender y retraer dicha cubierta, mientras que gira el primer eje; y un primer limitador operativamente conectado a dicho primer eje para detener la rotación de dicho primer eje tras extender la cubierta una distancia deseada, dicho primer limitador que incluye: una base fija en relación con el riel, dicha base que define un primer juego de roscas y un primer hombro que se extiende axialmente que define una primera superficie que se extiende axialmente; una primera barra hueca que define un segundo juego de roscas las cuales se acoplan con dicho primer juego de roscas, en donde dicho primer eje se extiende a través de dicha primer barra hueca y la primer barra hueca y el primer eje definen perfiles que coinciden que causan que la primer barra hueca gire con el primer eje mientras que permite que la primer barra hueca se deslice axialmente en relación con el primer eje; dicha primer barra hueca que tiene un primer extremo y un reborde en dicho primer extremo, dicho reborde que tiene primera y segunda caras que están axialmente separadas, dicha primer cara que define un segundo hombro que se extiende axialmente que define una segunda superficie que se extiende axialmente y dicha segunda cara que define un tercer hombro que se extiende axialmente que define una tercera superficie que se extiende axialmente, en donde, mientras que dicho primer eje gira en una primera dirección, causa que la primer barra hueca gire en relación con la base, con las roscas acopladas causando que la primer barra hueca se deslice axialmente en relación con el primer eje hasta que la primer y segunda superficies que se extienden axialmente del primer y segundo hombros que se extienden axialmente colindan entre sí, deteniendo así la rotación del primer eje en la primera dirección; y que además comprende un segundo eje montado en dicho riel para rotación en direcciones de las manecillas del reloj y contraria a las manecillas del reloj sobre un segundo eje de rotación paralelo a dicho primer eje de rotación, dicho segundo eje que tiene un perfil no-cilíndrico y estando operativamente conectado a dicha cubierta para extender y retraer dicha cubierta, mientras que el segundo eje gira; y un segundo limitador operativamente conectado a dicho segundo eje para detener la rotación de dicho segundo eje tras extender la cubierta una distancia deseada, en donde dicho segundo limitador incluye una segunda barra hueca que define un tercer juego de roscas y dicha base define un cuarto juego de roscas acopladas con dicho tercer juego de roscas, en donde el segundo eje se extiende a través de dicha segunda barra hueca y la segunda barra hueca y el segundo eje definen perfiles que coinciden que causan que la segunda barra hueca gire con el segundo eje mientras que permite que la segunda barra hueca se deslice axialmente en relación con el segundo eje; y en donde dicha segunda barra hueca tiene un reborde en un primer extremo, dicho reborde que define un cuarto hombro que se extiende axialmente que define una cuarta superficie que se extiende axialmente y en donde dichas primera y segunda barras huecas se orientan con los rebordes respectivos adyacentes entre si tal que, mientras que la primera y segunda barras huecas se deslizan axialmente entre sí en relación con el primer y segundo ejes respectivos, el tercer y cuarto hombros que se extienden axialmente se aproximan entre si hasta que el tercer y cuarto hombros que se extienden axialmente colindan entre sí para detener el movimiento adicional del primer y segundo ejes huecos hacia ellos mismos.
