Abstract

La presente invención se refiere en general a formulaciones en polvo de polímeros solubles en agua, y más particularmente, a una formulación de éter de celulosa la cual en forma de polvo es adecuada para su adición directa a sistemas a base de agua para producir soluciones libres de grumos finos. Los éteres de celulosa se reticulan con un reticulante de aldehído e incluyen un ácido débil seco el cual retarda la hidrólisis del enlace de hemiacetal formado por el reticulante. El ácido seleccionado no afecta adversamente la estabilidad de solubilidad.
